Project 365 Day 4: Pop Some Popcorn Cause I’ve Got A Great New Movie For You

Midnight in Paris

Image via Wikipedia

Enjoying a lazy evening my family was looking for a movie to watch after we finished a few episodes of The Big Bang Theory. My parents had suggested the movie Midnight in Paris. I had wanted to see it but I was still skeptical even though it looked good. After thinking about it I agreed to watch it. It was a great movie! I know I say this a lot, but this movie had everything! It had Paris so it was foreign in a way, it had Owen Wilson who is awesome, it had history, and it had some pretty entertaining comedy. The plot is simple yet somehow complex. I’m going to give you the simple one so I don’t ruin the movie. Owen Wilson is a successful writer who is with his fiancĂ©e in Paris. One night he goes out for a walk and goes back to Paris in the 20′s with Earnest Hemingway, Scott Fitzgerald and many other famous icons from the 20′s. My only complaint is that the people in the present are very unlikable but without them the movie would not have been as good. So, if you are looking for something to do, this movie is one of the best movie’s I’ve seen and it appeals to the whole family! One last tip, ignore the 13 in its rating. There is nothing remotely dirty in the movie. The only reason it has the rating is because there is a little alcohol usage but trust me, it is nothing to worry about!

List of The Big Bang Theory episodes (season 4)

Who would think that this cast would produce Emmy-nominated show?

I sat down planning to write a post about what to expect from 2012 but let’s face it, there are a ton of those posts. So, I’m gonna talk about the The Big Bang Theory. It is my new favorite show and got an honorable mention at the KUWD Awards. That resumĂ© speaks for itself. The plot is brilliant on its own. I mean if I was recommended to watch a show about four geeks and a girl from Nebraska I would tell them to go away and stay there! But somehow it works and is incredibly entertaining. When you combine Sheldon’s OCD, Howard’s creepy personality, Raj’s inability to talk to women and Leonard’s normality then add in the beautiful and charismatic Penny you have on of the best shows on air. They say that it is Jim Parsons that keeps the show alive but I disagree. Yes, he has the best role and is one of the main reasons that the show is so good but if you were to remove one person out of the cast the show would fail very fast.Trust me if you haven’t seen it because it is about nerds or that it doesn’t look funny, just watch one episode and I guaranty you wont regret it!

Project 365 #1: 2011 Ups and Downs (The 1st annual K.U.W.D Awards)

20111231-085929.jpg

Ok I’m going to be honest and say that I started writing this at 9:28 AM on December 31, but I will post it at exactly midnight with my first picture. So technically I’m not cheating. Anyway let’s get on with it, I’m going to give you my ups and downs of 2011. If you have any questions then just look at the title until you get the concept. Got it? Good, let’s get started.

Best Lighting in a TV Series:

Just kidding please don’t go away! No but really could you imagine I mean those awards just suck so much! Okay it’s business time now.

Hello, I’m Dan I’ll be your host for the first annual Keeping Up With Dan Awards. Our first award is going to my favorite TV show of 2011. Remember it doesn’t have to be a new show it just had to be on air in 2011. So, without further adieu the best TV Show of 2011 is…

How I Met Your Mother

It’s the next buddy comedy in a line that started with Seinfeld, then Friends and now HIMYM. The only question is: What’s next? Also a mention to the close runner-up: The Big Bang Theory.

Now it is time for the best movie of the year. This summer we saw a lot of comedy’s come out and now, as always the serious movies are creeping into theaters. I’m not going to bore you with the serious one’s because that’s the Oscars job. So, now I present to you, the Movie of the Year…

Horrible Bosses

Horrible Bosses had one of the best casts of the year and it was the funniest movie of the year! If you haven’t seen it yet, don’t today because it will ruin all of the comedies that come out this year!

Now let’s go to one of my favorites: The Bust of the Year. Now once you see what it is it’ll be pretty obvious why but I still have to have some fun talking about this…

Kim n Kris: 72 Days in Hell

First, a message from Kris Humphries who couldn’t be here tonight because he is to busy losing with the Nets.

Dear My Beloved Fans(who don’t exist),

I would like to thank you for all of your support through this tough time. I should have seen that my marriage was coming to an end the second she made me sign the prenup. But, unfortunately I wasn’t paying attention to the document if you catch my drift. I would like to gladly inform you that Kim and I are still friends because that is the only I can get on national TV. Anyway thank you and It’s a honer to receive this award.

Your Friend,

Kris

Now one from Kim Kardashian:

Dear Fans(who unfortunately do exist),

I promise to write a more gracious acceptance speech but Dirk Nowitzki it about to come out from practice and my New Years resolution is to grab that while it’s hot! Anyway I am so honored!

Best Wishes,

Kim

That was, um, really nice of them to write but it is time to move on to our final award: Person of the Year…
